What is Jillianna?
The Jillianna is a therapeutic non-silicone breast form designed to aid the healing process and appearance of mastectomy and partial mastectomy patients. This breast form has 100% cotton backing, while the front is silky soft material. It is filled with springy cluster fiber-fill, caviar beads and soft tissue-like beads to achieve a truly comfortable experience. While in use the wearer’s movement will cause the breast form to generate a slight massaging action. This massaging action assists in the flow of the blood, carrying oxygen to the surgery site, instead of restricting it. Additionally, body movements allow air to circulate throughout the form, encouraging the wearer to be active in their daily life without worrying about a stiff, structured form.
Jillian’s breast forms can be worn in chlorinated pool water, but is not recommended that it be worn in sea water. After use in pool, rinse well.

How is Jillianna different from silicone breast forms?
Silicone breast forms are more structured and come in a plastic like skin. The silicone form feels much like your natural breast, but is often times heavy and traps in your body heat. This can lead to a very uncomfortable hot and sweaty breast form. The Jillianna breast forms unique mixture of fiber-fill and caviar beads allow air to circulate, keeping you cool and dry. The 100% cotton backing also assist in keeping you cool and comfortable.
Is the Jillianna breast form heavy?
It comes in three different weights since it is a matter of opinion of how heavy it feels. The lightest weight is mainly for immediately following surgery. Then, there is a light weight and medium weight. The medium weight form is closest to stimulating the weight of a missing breast to insure proper balance.
Do I need to wear a special post mastectomy bra?
You can wear in a post mastectomy bra that has pockets or you can wear it in a regular bra. Either works well.
What are the washing and care instructions.
It is suggested to use warm water with mild soap (i.e.: Woolite, Ivory soap). Do not use a perfumed or lotion soap as these may leave residue. Gently massage form with your hands and rinse with cool water. Squeeze excess water out of form and roll in a towel. You may lay it flat (turning occasionally) or hang to dry.
Does Jillianna form come with a guarantee?
Yes. With normal wear, your form is guaranteed to last for six months against any manufacturing defects.
Will insurance pay for the form?
Medicare will pay on a non-silicone breast form every six months or twice a year. Most other insurances will do the same, however, you may need to check with your individual insurance and plan to make certain.
