Launched in 2004 by entrepreneur Lindy Snider, the small but steadily growing line was designed to help patients cope with the severe side effects that cancer treatments can have on the skin- from radiation burns to excessive dryness and itching. Snider sought the advice of doctors, patients, and expert in cancer care, then formed a scientific advisory board of dermatologists and oncologists.
